The Nordic Regenerative Tourism 2025 conference, titled "Realism or Wishful Thinking?", will take place in Siglufjörður, North Iceland, from March 11th to 14th, 2025. This event, now in its third year, focuses on advancing tourism practices that support environmental sustainability and community harmony. The conference invites tourism stakeholders from various sectors to share insights, experiences, and strategies on implementing regenerative tourism. Key themes include regenerative approaches in hospitality, gastronomy, activities, and future planning. The goal is to explore whether the aspirations of regenerative tourism are practical or merely idealistic, and to chart a realistic path forward.
