DANIEL BAERTSCH
Daniel Bärtschi is a pioneer in regenerative agriculture, advising companies, farms, and organizations on working in harmony with nature. Raised on one of Switzerland’s first organic farms, he has been deeply involved in sustainability, food production, and agriculture his entire life.
A qualified farmer and graduate of the Swiss College of Agriculture, Daniel later earned a Master’s in Organizational Leadership from Eastern University, USA. He has held leadership roles at Bio Suisse, an international development program, and the sustainability consulting firm Quantis (BCG Group). He now leads the Berne hub of the Wyss Academy, shaping innovative approaches to nature conservation.
In 2019, he founded Agricultura Regeneratio, a non-profit promoting regenerative farming and food production, offering certification for farms and tracking their impact on soil, biodiversity, and climate.
Daniel envisions a future where regenerative agriculture produces healthy food and restores ecosystems by merging traditional wisdom with modern technology.
He lives in Basel, Switzerland, with his wife and four children.

She is the author of the first book exploring the application of behavioral sciences to strategic issues in the travel industry.

Gergana Nikolova is the CEO and Co-Founder of BehaviorSMART, a B Corp-certified venture that applies behavioral science to ensure that most travelers opt for sustainable and regenerative choices. With a strong background in sustainable tourism and behavioral insights, she leads initiatives that help destinations and businesses integrate behavioral science into their strategies to promote responsible travel.
Before becoming an entrepreneur, Gergana spent ten years at the Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA), where she worked closely with destinations and businesses to foster active outdoor tourism and sustainability-driven experiences. Her expertise lies in business development, industry collaboration, and customer behavior, making her a key advocate for using behavioral science to simplify sustainability in tourism.
At BehaviorSMART, Gergana focuses on business growth and innovative strategies, helping tourism stakeholders influence traveler decisions toward positive environmental and social impact. Passionate about travel and exploration, she is committed to shaping a future where sustainability is the norm rather than the exception.

DEBBIE CLARKE
Debbie Clarke is a Regenerative Practitioner, tourism entrepreneur, podcaster, and bold visionary helping to create a new story for tourism. One that places human and ecological well being at the heart of tourism’s purpose.
Debbie founded and directed New Zealand Awaits, an inbound tour company providing services for LGBTQ+ travellers for 9 years. She now co-directs The Centre for GOOD Travel, a New Zealand based award-winning social enterprise on a mission to transform travel for a thriving world. She co-hosts GOOD Awaits, a globally renowned podcast uplifting inspiring examples of regenerative tourism pioneers.
Debbie’s tourism experience and training in Regenerative Development and Design make her a trusted facilitator and advisor for businesses and destinations adopting a regenerative approach to tourism. In a rapidly changing world, those who can embrace change, think systematically, and see the creative potential in uncertainty will be those who can innovate, be resilient, and contribute to their place as well.

BILL REED
Bill is an internationally recognized pioneer, practitioner, teacher, and authority in integrative systems design, sustainability, and regenerative community planning and implementation. Bill is a principal in Regenesis and The Place Fund – organizations working to lift human activities into full integration and evolution with living systems. His work centers on creating and implementing a whole and living-systems engagement and design process; realizing exponential value to the qualities of life within projects, communities, and their ecosystem.
An author of technical articles and contributor to many books on green design he is also a co-author of the seminal work, “Integrative Design Guide to Green Building.” He is a founding Board of Director of the US Green Building Council, a co-developer of the LEED Green Building Rating System, and is considered one of the leading thinkers and explorers in this field, Bill has consulted on hundreds of green design commissions and regenerative development engagements. He frequently speaks at major planning, building, and design events as well as guest-lectures at universities throughout Europe and North America including Harvard, Yale, University of British Columbia, Universidad Iberoamericana, MIT, Princeton and UPenn.
